Galaxy S II Skyrocket rides in on a white horse for AT&T on December 4th

This just in: Unicorns are real. After cropping up earlier this summer, Sammy's beast phone with an LTE twist is now officially Skyrocketing anew into AT&T's arms on December 4th. And this go 'round, it's been stripped of its Darth Vader-y hue -- much to our afternoon delight. Bell and T-Mobile will also be sharing in the bleached looks, though those variants haven't yet been locked down to official releases. Galaxy Note gets LTE turned on in South Korea, ready to cross the Pacific?

Many of us are smitten with Samsung's Galaxy Note, in no small part because of its stunning 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen. It's also enticed us with the inclusion of an LTE radio on spec sheets, and now Sammy has flipped the switch on that high speed capability, giving us another reason to drool over the jumbo handset. According to a Google translated press release, the Note is destined to ride waves of domestic LTE, though we certainly hope it'll bring such capabilities to the US. Speaking of, some shots have surfaced of a suspiciously Note-like device sans a tactile home button, favoring four Android capacitive buttons instead. Could Sammy be taking a page out of its Galaxy S II playbook and applying it to the stylus-packing superphone? AT&T officially adds LG Nitro HD to its fold on December 4th for $250

This may take a bit of steam out of LG's announcement this Thursday night, but AT&T has gone ahead and clicked "submit" on its press release for the LG Nitro HD, its version of the Optimus LTE. As we were expecting, the new arrival on AT&T's network offers a 4.5-inch HD (1,280 x 720) IPS display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 CPU, LTE and an 8MP camera with a 1.3MP front-facing cam. The device, measuring 10.4mm thick, should be showing up in stores and online December 4th for $250 with a two-year commitment. So, did AT&T just steal LG's thunder here, or should we be expecting something completely unrelated? Full presser's after the break.
